My T2 has about had it and I was just wonderin if any of you guys have
any background on what a good force feedback wheel would be to use
with N3. The only one I've read anything about is the Microsoft wheel
but just wondering what everyone else thinks. Thanks in advance.

I know it's a Formula One style wheel, but I've heard it's one of
the best on the market.  The Logitech Formula Force, normally $179 in
stores, is $111 at Egghead.com.  Maybe someone who has one can comment on
how it works with N3.
I'm thinking about getting it, but I'm undecided on the Formula
One style shifter on the steering wheel.  To me, realistic shifting is
not as important as a good wheel and good force-feedback.

Just got my Logitech FF wheel about two weeks ago, and I really like
it.  (I tried the MS wheel, and there were a few things I didn't like
about it)
That being said,  some of the FF effects in N3 aren't that great IMO.
I turned off FF in N3 last night, and I get MORE resistance from the
wheel in turns than I do when FF is enabled.  If you are buying a FF
wheel JUST for N3, you might be disappointed.   I also play SCGT, GPL,
and MGPRS2, and all those support FF as well.

I had the same feelings about the shifter on the wheel.  (especially
after using a T1, then a NASCAR Pro wheel for so long. )  After about
20 minutes, you'll love it.  :-)  (if it takes that long)

on that note, if you decide to go with non ff check out
http://www.wave.co.nz/pages/lakewood/Prices.htm
it might be out of your price range, but you get what you pay for :)

Darrell,

I use the MSFF wheel with gpl and Nas3. You have to set up a profile
for nas3 in order to get the paddles to work.

Some people like Chevys, and some like Fords... Same here! and here is my
4 cents...

I just got the Yellow Wingman (non force feedback) from Logitech.  I has
several thrustmasters in the past... then the Red (force feedback)
Logitech which is great for sims like Viper Racing..(great force feedback
and stronger than any other FF wheels)  I didn't like it for N3 because it
wasn't quite precise enough of the head to head racing online so I now
have the Non FF version.

Yellow Logitech..... best buy price... 79 bucks..
Red Logitech.....      best buy price... 89 bucks..  (good price!)
