Sensitivity Problems (Steering)

I am having problems with the sensitivity on my Virtual Pilot Pro while
racing Monster Truck and Cart Precision Racing.  Am I just using the wrong
driving device or am I doing something wrong because I have the sensitivity
turned all of the way down on both games.
