F1 2000 steering sensitivity problem

I've lowered the steering lock, reduced the controller sensitivity and
deadzone, but steering the cars seems hopelessly twitchy to the point where it
is extremely difficult to control them down a straight.  I have Guillemot FF
wheel.

Does anybody else have this problem or know how to overcome it?

You want to reduce the sensitivity with speed option.  It's the one at the bottom
of the controller screen.  I have a T2 and set the option at the top to 70% and
the one at the bottom to 35%.  I would like more sensitive pedals, but at least
I'm not over-gassing it all the time ;-)

F1 2000 steering sensitivity problem

This is an important update...

I'm now using 50% sensitivity and 60% speed sensitivity with my T2.  When standing
still and turning the wheel from lock to lock, the tires stop moving when the wheel
stops.  When using 70% the tires stopped moving way before the wheel hit the full
lock.  Using 50%, I now get to use all the available motion from the wheel and
smooter turns are the result!
