F1RS steering sensitivity - need help

by Dave Ma » Fri, 10 Apr 1998 04:00:00

Just installed F1RS and then patch 1.08 last night.  Game works fine,
except that I have a *big* dead zone in the center of my steering
wheel.  Have to turn it nearly 30 degrees from center to get any
corresponding steering response at all from the sim.  This makes any
slight changes to my driving line nearly impossible.

Wheel/pedal combo is TSW.  It works fine with GP2, and changing
sensitivity there has direct effect on the TSW.  Also have been able
to successfully calibrate the TSW under Win95.

Changing the "steering sensitivity" in F1RS seems to have no effect,
no matter if it's at 0%, 100% or anywhere in between.  Also, can
anyone can tell me what the "steering limit" button in F1RS is
supposed to do?  I also have steering help turned off.

TIA,

Dave
