help! with a video card.

I think the only game worth keeping around right now is GPL as I don't
have a lot of time.

So I am upgrading my computer.  Celeron 466, Voodoo 3 2000, 128 MB.

I am either getting an AMD 1200 or an Intel PIII 933/1000.  So....
what video card will make GPL happy?  And what card would not be a
bottle neck on these systems?

HELP!  With all the discussion here, I am even more confused.

The system you have right now is perfectly capable of running gpl.
If that is your ONLY concern...then why upgrade?
any new Geforce card will work well with the GPL d3d patch.
A voodoo5 is great with fsaa enabled.  Once again if GPL is your only
concern,
then there is no worry about a 3dfx product becoming outdated.
Finally....I beleive there are plenty of games worth keeping...gpl
included.

That's not why I am upgrading.  But I do want a GPL happy system.

In that case, the low price of Voodoo 5 5500, down to $113 now, is all you
need to spend. You might even try a PCI version (might be more money) so you
could still use it when you decide to get a GeForce 4 or something. Who
knows, you may want to play WSC.
