I went into Comp USA today and the new Thriller 3D 8mb PCI cards are on sale
for $129.00.  These cards started for $259.  I did a "double take" to make sure
it was the 8mb card and it is.  If you were wanting this card and wanted it
cheap....get it while its there.  I'm going back on Tuesday to get mine.

  Andrew,
Are you sure that was for the 8meg with vid capture, tv out etc? Their site
lists that price for both of the 4meg versions, AGP and PCI.

Yes, I confirmed it....the 8mb PCI version.  It even has the little cut out
from their ad on the shelf and it clearly reads 8mb.  And they have about a
dozen in stock.  They have never had any of the AGP versions and there are no
4mb versions remaining.  Hey, I'm going to go this evening and get my own and
I'll confirm the purchase.  Late.

Andrew,

Please confirm, I called my local Comp USA and they said it is still
$239.00  It is hard to beleive that they could sell the 8 meg version for
$129, but I guess we will see.  Good luck!

Hey, I just bought one at Comp USA for $199.95 8meg. The 4meg version
was $129.95. I'm in the Pacific Northwest.

I am the biggest idiot.... I've got the "reading" down but the "comprehension"
part is a little tricky.

The 4mb card is $129....HOWEVER, as someone just posted...the 8mb card is being
sold for $199.00.  I'm all over it.

I apologize for the "sky is falling" mentality.

I would recommend Sierra's Screamin' 3D.  Rendition chip, 4 megs ram, less
than a $100 at Sam's Club.  Can run N2 on my 166 with all graphics on,
didn't know how good this sim was 'til I got it.  :)
