GPL win2000 Crashes

Recently reinstalled windows 2000 and GPL.  1.2 and D3D patches.  It worked
fine, but then I installed SB Liveware 3 due to crackling noises.
Previously I had been using the default drivers.

Now GPL crashes after a lap or two.  I had this problem before I formatted,
but I just used windows ME for GPL instead - Any ideas?

Since I couldnt play GPL I installed GP3 (needed my sim fix) and had audio
distortion, but no crashes - every other game seems fine with audio though.

LWFF - 3.65? drivers

I have read that the livewire software can cause conflicts.
