GPL and Win2000?

Anyone able to get GPL working under Win2000. I have Win2000 Professional
b2099 and can't run it in 3dfx mode. It starts to load but just before the
menu screen appears it gives me gpl.exe caused an error.... or something
like that. I have Voodoo3 2000 AGP. Software mode is no problem. Also with
SbLive drivers built in Win2000 b2099 the sound is great ( just like in
Win98 and not like WinNT 4.0 anymore ). Can somebody help me with this? What
v3 drivers are you using.

Didn't know windows 2000 was out. Is it so much better?

Schumacher, Windows 2000 is not released yet, what he has is a beta build.
For years the Windows OS has been released in semi-public betas.  I mean
it's an OS, so it's the software that should have the most extensive beta
period :)

Hell, I couldn't even LOAD it on Win2000.  The install crashes to a error
dialog box, but there's no text in the box.  I can't even tell what the error
is... :-(

b2099 is most likely your problem. Go back to 2072.
