get about 0.5fps. The same PC booted into Windows 98 gets 36fps. Win2000 is nice
- but not for GPL.

driver.
By the way, do you have a Logitech WFF wheel? I have that wheel installed, can
use it in SCGT, but it will not calibrate in GPL. If I can get the LWFF to work,
it would be worth it for me to buy a V3 card - except I have no free slots :(

It's the Creative Labs Graphicblaster (TNT, 16M, AGP). I am using whatever
driver Microsoft have in the 2072 build. Can a NT4 driver be used? Even if I get
the graphics to improve, there is still the issue that the LWFF will not
calibrate in GPL/Windows2000. When the wheel is turned to the left, the raw
values in GPL go negative and the wheel calibration freezes. Using a utility
from the Windows2000 SDK, I see that the wheel reports values from 0 to 65536 as
it should. So, it looks like GPL is not compatible with the directinput routine
in Windows2000, and the generic input routine is not available for NT or
Windows2000. Maybe there is a hack somewhere so the GPL calibration screen can
be not used, and the values just edited directly into a file.

but I can't my Thrustmaster T2 working as Win2000 doesn't seem to want to
install it as a device. I've tried all the different types of joystick
listed under Game Devices in the Control Panel, but they all say "Not
connected". NT4 doesn't support Papys Generic Driver and neither does
Win2000, in '98 I use this driver which works best.
Otherwise, I get a better frame rate in '2000 than '98, shame I can't drive
with the wheel though.
