I have just posted a WHOLE lap of the Nurburgring! It is in a Porsche. The
driver is throwing the car all over the place, loads of tyre smoke!!!

It is lap2.. I have lap1 and when my ISP sort out my web space I'll post it.
I should have 50mb but for some reason I only have 25mb!

Let me know what you think! I think it is the best lap I have seen yet.

I'm living in Germany and have absoved serveral rounds at the Green Hell.
With my VW Polo it takes about 10min56sec.
I'm searching for a long time for a good video.
I would be very happy if you could post it.

Happy Racing

Holy cow!! I thought that Porsche GT3 movie was great, but this movie
really shows some wild driving! Look at that baby drifting :)
Where the hell do you get these great movies from? Was this from a
Porsche demotape or something?

More! More! More! :)

(Today I received the Nine days in Summer tape, also very nice footage
from '67 races)

Speaking of this, how do I put all of these films on a CD to be played on my
DVD ?

Do I have to convert everything to mpeg1 format ? if yes using which
software and then burning them with nero using the video cd option ?

I have the inboard video of Senna's crash in Imola 94 if you want it I can
send it.

Thx

Bill, the track exit is at the long straight nowadays (learned that
myself recently) so you got the whole video here.

Well no, when this video was made, the start/ziel was still at T13, between
Hohenrain and Hatzenbach.  Antoniusbuche, Tiergarten, Hohenrain are missing
from the RUF video.  (The lap was taken from the promotional RUF video
"Faszination Nrburgring")

I think the guy is a complete nutter! How the hell can anyone even consider
doing all that without a rollcage or even a helmet? This is an amazing
clip!! :-)

Damn straight... way beyond anything I'd consider doing without the full
Nomex, helmet, rollcage and Recaro seat thing happening (not mention racing
slicks). Totally amzing to watch though... nice line, only missed a few
apexes despite*** it out like that.

I dont think this is a single lap.  It appears to have been edited
somewhat. probably from multiple laps where the best pass at any given
part of the circuit was used.  At around 6:00, an outside view shows
the car coming up on a slower vehicle, then switches to an inside view
and the vehicle is no longer there.

Goto www.vcdhelp.com that has info, help and links to enable you to make
VCD's out of just about any type of movie file.  One of the most useful and
helpful web sites I have ever come across.

If your referring to the Ruff Porsche lap, yes there is sound. I'm
using Windows Media Player beta version, works well.

Yes, you should hear wildly screeching tires during the whole replay.
