Are there still any other sites to download movies from the Nordschleife ?
I have downloaded all the videos and they are very good.

What hardware do I need for making such videos ?
I have a HI8 Tape with a Mercedes 280E built 79' driven by me.
Cause of bad tyres it is approx. 11.45.
It was also my first round. No I would like to digitalize it on my computer.
The qualitiy is not as good as from these getting on the net.

Thanks for help

I did a search on www.google.com titled "making mpegs" and got over 19,000
hits. This site looked promising: http://www.video2cd.co.uk/how.html

Wow.  Either a RUF CTR is the shittiest handling car in the world,
or it's been slowed down.  Does not look like he's going very fast
at *all*, and the way he takes the corners seems so shit.

Its not a handling problem.  He's obviously*** the tail out on
purpose to show off his car control skills.  He's also going pretty
damn quick despite his slideways style.  Lap 1 looks to be complete
with a lap time of 8:25 which is quite fast.  At the Nordschleife
anything under anything under 9:00 in a street car is very good.

In my opinion the lap with the RUF Porsche is realistic.
I driving myself and I know there are some people drifting whenever
possible.

Are there still any other video on the net ?
Lap 2 of the RUF would be great.
