Laptimes over the years
This table shows some of the laptimes over the years. Remember that all
times are official race-times, and that faster times where sometimes set
during practice or at other times.

You have to note that "Regga" only was 9th in the last race, but set the
lap record :-)

You have to remember that the very first lap times set in the twenties were
using the whole circuit, including the south loop

In the 1983 sportscar race Stefan Bellof went round in 6.25.9. I think that
was during the race.

Yes, AFAIK only the inaugural races in June 1927 used the whole ring.
I'm still a little slower than the 61mph average the supercharged
sports cars did in 1927 with my 27hp motorbike, and in GPL, I'm even
slower ...
