Anyone know of any known problems between the Thriller 8mb card and GPL,
and if so known work arounds?

The problem here is the pc locks up regularly resulting in a reboot to
get things running again?

The Thriller 8M is excellent with GPL. Ran one for year, and I still
like the image quality better than my V3 3000. The only problem I'm
aware of, is you cannot have multiple users set-up under W98. Works with
W95, but with 98 you can't get GPL to run because of window re-sizing
problems.

I never had any lock-up problems at all.

imho the perfect card for GPL.
conflict with multi card 98 yes, ut this sounds like a heat or cpu problem. GPL
is the only thing that locks my sys and then only if I am overclocking the
whole system and simply put to much stress and cause too much heat. my solution
was to learn more about o/c and add a couple of fans, one directly at/on the
video chip and additional case venting. perhaps what type of mobo etc may have
an effect as well.
