You can get the *carsound utility* from many places, such as the fast
lane.
In GPL, the eagle uses the cosworth.wav. So the Lotus would also sound
like the ferrari...
The above program fixes it so that you can have separate
sounds for all cars.

It's a quick download, and easy to use..get it!

Good luck!

First there is no need to pack and unpack.  Just place the sound file
you want in the sound folder under GPL.  If I remember correctly (and
this is becoming a even rarer thing of late <G>), the Eagle uses the
file named "cosworth.wav".  Just copy the ferrari.wav file into our
Sound folder as "cosworth.wav".

Well, when you've unpacked it. you need to name the ferrari.wav to
cosworth.wav.

Yes, as goofy as it seems, the Eagle uses the Cossie sound.

The cars use these sound-files:

Cosworth.wav: Lotus and Ealge
Repco.wav: Brabham and Murasama
Weslake.wav: Coventry
Ferrari.wav: Ferrari
BRMH16: BRM
F2f3.wav: All car if you practice with F2 or F3 settings. (i think)

Nope to neither.  Though I have contributed to the sim racing community
over the years, here in r.a.s. and creating AI updates for NASCAR2, and
spent many years painting some of the best (IMHO) cars for ICR2.

I guess I just post too much ;-)
