GPL: Using the original Ferrari sound for the Lotus

by Ruud van Ga » Thu, 15 Apr 1999 04:00:00

Hi all GPL fans,

I've looked at Patrick's sound for GPL, but I still really like the
original Ferrari sound, as raw as it is. Now I would like to use that
sound for my Lotus (which I mostly drive). How would I do that?

Thanks,

aha!! well, just copy the FERRARI.WAV to another directory (leaving the
original in the gpl/Sound directory... oh yeah, first unpack the
sound.dat). also copy COSWorth.wav, but only if you want to go back to
it.

Then rename the copy of Ferrari.Wav to COSWORTH.wav and you're all set!
Then move COSWORTH.DAT to the GPL/Sounds directory, overwriting the old
one and you're done! Restart GPL and you've got a 12-cylinder sounding
Lotus...

you dont need to pack it again ... putting the .WAV is enough :)
