Lots of you guys may know about this, but I thought I'd throw it for
the masses just in case. I can't seem to tame the prancing horse for too
long at a time. That said, I just love the engine sound. With the simple
winMIP program available, it's easy to go in and copy the Ferrari's
raucous tones, and then paste them back as the Cosworth.wav. Of course
you have to delete the original .wav file. Then just repack the whole
enchilada and enjoy the basso profundo roar of the beast in your much
tamer (and easier to drive) Lotus. I know it's not sticking to the
original very good work that Papy did, but give me that Ferrari's engine
sound and I swear I must have dropped a couple of seconds off my
admittedly slow lap time at Spa <ggg.>
Now, is it the Ring... or Spa... decisions, decisions.... All the
