gpl + distorted lotus sounds

gpl + distorted lotus sounds

When driving the lotus I occasionally get distortion from the
speakers,  I've only just noticed this.   I recienty upgraded to dx6
and dx6.1 but the problem persists,    the best way to describe it is
like the speakers have loose conections , but they dont ....
Any help welcome,   I am using a SB PCI128 with the latest drivers
