Hi

I was planning to buy a non force feedback wheel but I changed my mind. I'm
going to play gpl mostly without ff but sometimes I want to feel the
force:-). My two types now are Logitech ff and Ferrari ff. One thing worry
me a bit. I've read the review of the LWFF which states that LWFF with ff
turned off is much worse than the version without ff out of the box. Any
comments? Is it the same situation with Ferrari ff? BTW which wheel is
better for gpl?

Greetings

Rafal

why would you want to race GPL without Force Feedback? I've only head
stories of people thinking it's totally awesome. and not only that makes
their lap times faster. I've never heard of it being a disadvantage, I know
N3 is soooooo much easier for me with FF, if it goes out for whatever reason
I loose major time. (That's only happened once.)

I have just purchased a lwff and its great. my main  purpose was for GPL and
Nascar 3. But Sports car GT which came with it is a great game (not quite a
sim like GPL but good fun) and I havent stop playing it yet. I have not
tried the wheel without FF. I also considerd the ferrari wheel as it also
looks good. As an aside i am having no problems with the pedals although
they recieve bad press

I read somewhere that with ff turned on you can forget about really fast
times in gpl. It seems that everybody has got his own opinion.

For serious racing I turn off the FF,  and the LWFF is still a great wheel.
Very accurate, very solid, and very easy to set the amount of centering
spring you like. Wouldn't want any other one.

Thx, your comments shed a little more lights on the subject.
