Which wheel is the best?

All the reviews so far give the Ferrari wheel the advantage, but I'll bet
LWFF owners would disagree. I've tried the LWFF for about 3 days, and the
Ferrari wheel for a couple weeks now. I must admit that I like the Ferrari
wheel better too. Plus it has the advantage of a stick shifter as well as
paddles. I like the Ferrari pedals just the way they are. They're the first
pedals I've used that I didn't modify in one way or another. Unlike others
who don't like the LWFF pedals because of the base, I didn't mind the base
or angle of the pedals. I use a board against the wall to stop the pedals
from moving anyway, and I don't mind ramping the base to get an angle I
like. What I didn't like about them was that I didn't get a good feel for
throttle or brake pressure. Maybe the travel was too short? You didn't
mention the Act Labs Force RS as a choice. I think the 2 hottest wheels
right now are that and the Ferrari.

Keep in mind, however, that Gmot is having Quality Control problems with the
Ferrari wheel. Typically this is a trimmer that's out of adjustment. Its
easy to get at and fix yourself if you have to, but be prepared. Reviews on
both these wheels are here: http://www.the-unofficial.com/reviews.htm

Also, when the new batch of Act Labs wheels arrives (they sold out at xmas
time), I'll be doing a "shoot out" type of review, Ferrari vs. Act Labs
Force and Shifter. It will be posted all over the place.
