FF Wheels -- what about the pedals!?

I recently bought a MS FF wheel. Been really pleased with it, but I was
disappointed initially, as there's no form of feedback in the pedals.

One of the ways in a real car that you tell when you're about to lock the
wheels, is that the brake-pedal goes light. Unfortunately the MSFF doesn't
have any feedback in its pedals -- anyone know if such a thing exists?

It's kind of a glaring oversight when the feedback in pedals is significant
to a real racing driver...why'd they design the force-feedback system this
way?

Afraid I'm not much help -- since I use W98. As far as MS OS's go, it's best
to stick with the ones at least 5 years old for compatibility reasons ;)

Is it not possible to change the settings in the game controllers in control
panel under Win2k? In W98 you can select the "hardness" of the wheel.

There will probably be a FAQ somewhere on the web about it for you to check
out. Have a look on google's my only suggestion.
