I know everyone is going to call me a moron, but I actually like my LWFF
pedals.

Yes, the travel is short and the springs are soft.

I like it.  I race with no shoes on, and the light pedals really give me a
lot of control.

Act Labs, Guillemot Ferrari, MSFF all have great pedals, and about half the
people who own them even like the LWFF pedals. I think it all depends on
what you race and then what you get used to.

The hardware is good. But it has only 64 degree each.
You'll feel inputs are jumping.

No. The Microsoft Force Feedback Wheel has excellent pedals. Best I've seen,
by far.

They feel solid and have great spring feedback.

The base could be a little heavier however, as it does slid around a bit.

Best regards,

The Phoenix

Moron. Hey, I didn't want to disappoint you. :)

BTW, Love the pedals on my MSFF. 1.5 years of hard service (so far) & no
spring failures! Up yours, TM!

Hah?  My Act Labs pedals SUCK.  I love the wheel.  The best FF I've
ever felt.  But the pedals are terrible.  I've had them apart several
times, greased them, adjusted the bolts etc. etc.  The brake pedal is
very sticky and hard to control in a sim like GPL.  Has no feel to it
either.  Does that Act Labs guy still hang out here?  Have you guys
come out with a fix for the pedals yet?  If so, it would be a kick ass
combo.

The pedals with my Force RS were a little tight when I first got it, but
after about a week of use they loosened up and now they feel great.

I hear this but with any pedals you just can't use them with shoes or
slippers, socks or bare fotted is the only way you can feel these pedals!
Thats what I find anyway.

I've been using mine a few months now.  I'll pop them apart again and
see if can it any better than it is.  It's been a while since I last
adjusted things.
Thanks!

Hello GraDee,

Just some trivia for you.  When we play on our "breaks," we all play
with our shoes on.  I actually prefer to play with my shoes on and
would do so at home if my girlfriend didn't kick my ass.
Besides, there are some guys here at work that would kill us if they
took off their shoes to play.  :)

I LOVE the pedals with the LWFF wheel.
I always race with stocking feet, you get way less feel with shoes.
I find the springs are plenty strong enough for me, and there's just
enough throw in them. I can actually hold the car on the edge when
braking now in GPL.
They have a huge base with place on left to rest your brake foot, and
lots of platform space for big feet like mine.
The logitech unit is extremely precise, and always calibrates exact
and smoothly.
The wheel does bug me with a bit of a plastic grinding feeling and
sound when turned, but it works well, feels good, has plenty of force,
and is very very smooth even with sensitivity and linearity full
maxed.
