I noticed in Dejanews (Its got a better searcher) that some one was asking
about using FF wheels in DOS games.
I have a SideWinder Wheel that uses the SoundBlaster game/midi port, this
works fine in all the racing games i have (Listed below) as long as they are
run through Windows.
Europress RAC Rally (No FF)
Grandprix 2 (No FF)
TOCA 1 (Little FF)
Need For Speed 3 (Demo) (***FF)
Viper Racing (Demo) (Too much FF)
Cart Precision Racing (Good FF)
Monster truck Madness (Some FF)
I tried running GP2 in DOS but the steering dissapeared and turned to the
right, (I didn't try recalibrating it).
This as far as I know is the best wheel that uses the Gameport and is a bit
out date now for its interface usage (Just a big bit).
But it shows that Microsoft do actually sometimes (not very often) think
about users of older systems/programms.
