I keep getting pole at Monza, beating the next guy by at least 2 seconds (even
on hard).  I usually hit the curb and drive right through the chicane in a
relatively straight line.  Am I cheating?

yes  Even tho I loathe chicanes, even tho there is no penalty for
shortcutting, you are still cheating, you  are still hurting yourself by not
learning the correct path.  Hey it's your game, but if you came online and
did that, you'd be lucky to get one warning then a boot....
