I have serious problems with gpl 1.1. and 1.2 in high resolutions

The problem is very simple with gpl 1.0 no trouble from 640x.. until 1024x..
As soon as I install 1.1. or 1.2 I have trouble going in to race or practice
on resolutions higher than 640x480.

The system lock up and gives an error.

NV40GL.dll has a page error.

My system is an PII 450, 128Mb, Viper 550 16mb, Asus p2b Moth.board.

does anyone have an answer?

In my old Voodoo1 4mb in 800x600 I have no trouble.
