GPL1.1 Frame-rate capping

GPL1.1 Frame-rate capping

Like others, I recently discovered my frame rate capped at 25fps. This was a
bit of a shock, as when I first installed the patch, I got the same fps as
before - so I was wondering what all the fuss was about.

I tried all the work-arounds - the only thing I'd changed was I'd put my
motorola ISA modem in my other system and fitted a diamond supra-express PCI
one in my games system.

Sure enough, when I disable the modem enumerator in control panel, my frame
rate goes back to 36/37fps.

Anyone else found the same?

I think I'm going to put my isa modem back in my games system, I thought the
pci one would have been better

No problems with my US Robotics 56K USB modem either.
