F1RC sound of AI cars not audible

Has anyone else noticed that you can only hear the AI's engine sounds during
a race, but not during practice or qualifying? If not, what do I have to
change to get it playing all the time? I also noticed that flags do not
display also during practice & qualifying, but do during the races no
problem? Is there something I havent set?
