F1RC - Ai files

Hi List,

Can someone tell me which files F1RC modifies in order to have what they
term " Evolving AI"?  Has anyone established that any files (i.e. parameters
within) are actually changed?

cheers,
David K

It doesn't it is a lie,

Do a race noting the time before you start and do a search for files in your
F1RC folder that have been modified since the time you started. There will
be 2 one is the replay store the other is Presults.pds I think it contains
the race results and at only 255 bytes I doubt it could contain much more.

Did UbiSoft actually say that themselves, or what it someone who started a
rumor?  I assume, someone playing the game started realizing that the more
they played, the less the AI cars crashed into them.  What was probably
happening was that HE was simply getting better with the game, and therefore
driving in a fashion that didn't have him crash with the AI cars as often.
He might have incorrectly assumed that the AI cars were driving better?

Actually, I will defend Ubi this time because I'm almost 100% sure it was
"someone" who used that as a simple excuse why he didn't have such bad AI
and others had, considering we wouldn't be running F1RC as much as him
(fortunately we don't race it at all for the most hehe).

It says that right on the box!

"Tremendously improved AI: For the first time, the AI EVOLVES, as
competitors learn and react. Put the pressure on a computer opponent and
force him to make a mistake!"

Trouble is, these guys have sky-high *** pressure from start to finish.

One thing.... You may not find any files in the F1RC folder that have been
changed when you quit the game, so you assume no ai files are being
updated. But this game writes to the registry too... notice how "setup
is updating your configuration files" after a reboot after playing F1RC?

Do you believe everything that an advertizing company puts on
a  POP [Point Of Purchase] box? Are you this unaware of the
lying world of advertising? Hopefully you are spoofing!! :-)

Who are you addressing with your comment?  Krakus was just stating a fact,
not his beliefs...
