(Yes, I know you were being sarcastic but there you go!)

In F1 (at least in GPL) road racing, you're mainly fighting against the
road,
while in Nascar Oval racing you're mainly fighting against other racers.
'Boring' both kinds of racing might be sometimes, but neither is 'easy'
- ovalling *looks* easy but it's a - admittedly, rather limited - skill
by itself.
(Ok, I only have Nascar 4 to judge that on but from what I gather N2003
isn't more difficult than that oldie..)

I think Nats is just trying to stir the pot here...........He gets off
to being chastized! He's fondling his wee little "Vienna" sassage as
he reads all these posts to his own ignorant post.....
For what it's worth....at least OUR Nascar boys don't have to have
traction control and auto shifting and ABS etc. just to make a lap
around the track!!
Not to mention that we have much more colorful drivers (personality
wise..)
Plus...when was the last time you saw 2 or even 3 F-1 cars go 2 or 3
laps around the track, side by side, mere inches apart going 190 MPH?
THAT takes mucho large *** to do without backing off.....

Thus the reason for my witticism.
Bruce.
Oh yes, the current state of F1. Only overtaking is either on the first lap,
which usually involves a cluster*** in the first turn or while the other
car is getting service in the pits.
If you're going to argue about F1 v NASCAR, at least try to put things in
perspective.
When was the last time you saw 2 or even 3 NASCARS go 2 or 3 laps around a
"Road" circuit, side by side, mere inches apart going 190 MPH?
You're comparing apples to oranges in your above example, they are both
fruit, that's about it.. :)
I watched the NASCAR race at Sears this year (on tv) and it reminded me of
the Celebrity Challenge races they hold before the Australian GP, except i
think the celebrity race at Albert Park was more refined and closer to an
actual motor racing event than that show the NASCAR boys put on at Sears..

Nats 1 - RAS 0
Yes, I know I've just fed it, but I'm surprised at how much interest a
simplistic troll like this one got. Nats can move on in the knowledge
of a job well done.

I refrained from taking the opportunity as all possible replies might have
been offending to someone even if posted with lots of smilies in them, but
man, it _was_ a risky thing to say :-)
