No offence but do we need a dozen posts to every RASCAR driver?  Just seems
to be cluttering up the group lately.

I have no problem with a few posts as it is RAS related but as it did last
year it is getting out of hand again as it seems to be 50%+ of all the
posts.

The league I run in uses a private Yahoo group for this type of stuff.  It
works really well.... hint hint.

Yeah the messages are kinda boring now, but wait till they start racing.
Then all the name calling and finger pointer starts and then it gets
interesting. :)

It's RASCAR and you are welcome to join.  RASCAR was bred out of this
newsgroup, so this is the proper place for the discussion IMHO.

We've had this discussion before and we've already tried using a forum and a
Yahoo group. The thing is the people who still frequent RAS actually
_prefer_ communicating via a newsgroup, so that didn't really work.
Basically: you're stuck with us.

Notice, however, the big, bold RASCAR "flag" in the subject header, included
to allow people who have no interest in the events to filter these messages
out.

Yes that is fine but do we need 20 posts a day on it, all to individual
drivers?  It might have been born out of RAS but it is not all that RAS is
about.  Just looking for some balance for those of us not in RASCAR.
