Hi

I'm running an Audigy2 with NR2003 and gamevoice.
If I turn on 3d sound in the game, the voices in gamevoice, echo really
badly.
I'm running the latest Drivers off creative's site, any ideas?

Cheers

Have you got reverb turned on in the Creative control panel?

No, reverb isn't the prob.  I encountered it and remember that it took
endless fiddling w. the mixers.  Somethin abt. the "What You Hear" slider.
Infuriating.  Sorry I can't remember the solution any more specifically.

Yep, it's probably that on top of the Recording slider in the mixer (the
rightmost one) there's an Ear symbol, which indicates that 'What you
hear' is the recording source for the microphone.

If that's the cause of your prob, you have to click on that, a menu will
pop up, and then you select 'Microphone' instead.

Another issue could be with CMSS, but that usually stops when you're in
a game. But if the above doesn't help, try disabling CMSS.

You mention the latest drivers Guy but I just want you to know (in case you
missed it) creative just released (couple day ago) a new driver set that
includes EAX4.0.  I had an issue using Teamspeak and getting really bad
echos.  Either the mixer/what u hear setting or the newest driver seemed to
have corrected the issue.

Would you also define a jackass as someone who drives their family sedan
TOYOTA CAMRY around a closed down banked oval racetrack and gets waved down
by security and told to never return, Guy?
