What about "support" for NR2003??

I wonder if Papy will offer any "support" for their last Nascar title?
With all the bugs that are usually uncovered with each release ( bugs
which prohibit game play like the Martinsville pacecar, and the bogus
wall penalties that ruin Darlington) will they even make an attempt to
correct such bugs or will they just wipe their hands of it after it's
release?  About the only positive thing I can see is that we won't
need to s***our setups after visiting each track twice (ie: leagues
following the cup schedule) But's thats about it.. Wishful thinking,
but maybe it'll become like GPL, and people will continue to play it
years after it's release (If EA or whoever can't produce quality
titles) And come out with enhancements, tracks, etc.. Thoughts? TF

The wall penalty is not a bug, it was a consious design choice.

No, it's a bug when it gives you the slow down penalty when you don't
even touch the wall, between turns 1&2. I sent a replay to them but  I
doubt they'll do anything about it.. It happens to me on a semi
regular basis when your running the preferred line through 1 and 2,
just after the billboard in the middle of the corner.. (Just get real
close to the wall) I wonder what would happen if you hooked a switch
to your brake pot, and turned it off whenever it tried to give the
penalty? I noticed on my replay that that's really all it does is
automatically apply the break for a few seconds.. TF

You are the first person I have seen that mentioned that you think this is ocurring.  Based on that
after closing in on what,  6 months since the second patch came out(?) noone else notices it, but
EVERYONE complained about the wallriders, you're probably mistaken.
