Reminds me of a stupid publicity stunt by Gilette Mach3. You could enter a
web-site and try a game, and you could win a testride with a old Tyrell car
with a Judd engine.
The thing was that you should only change gears, when a corner approached you
had to gear down, and on a straight you had to gear up to keep the revs high.
But the stupidest thing was that sometimes a pool of water or oil was put on
the track, and if you didn't gear down you would spin. I mean, overrevving the
engine to get more control while crossing oil or water, insane.
The reason for the competition was to prove that you could drive a F1 car.....
