That's a decent price on GPL, but SCGT is available off the shelf in the
stores now for only $14.95
This is a VERY good price on a piece of software that is of great
interest to members of this newsgroup, AND the shipping is free, which
makes it an even better deal. That definitely doesn't qualify as
"spam" in my book.
FYI, though, Viper Racing can be found at Best Buy now for $9.99, and
SCGT can also be found as part of an EA "Ultimate Racing III" 3-pack
(along with NFS3 and NASCAR Revulsion) for $19.99 at Best Buy and
CompUSA. GPL, on the other hand, is pure unobtainium, unless you want
to shell out $45 for the stray copy that may still be on the shelves at
EB.

It does seem like a good deal for GPL and also on a couple of
the others.
