GPL FF on the Logitech. Ideal settings?

What settings are all you LWFF users putting in your core.ini?
Is there a particular settign that everyone agrees on?

I have the follwing:
force_feedback_damping = 30.000000
force_feedback_latency = 0.0500000
max_steering_torque = 55.000000000

but these don't feel perfect.

Thanks for any tips

i based my settings on those from www.simracingmag.com
there's a good discussion of the numbers there. i felt too many spikes,
though, so turned up the damping just a touch.
remember ro use the controller properties to turn overall effects up to
150%.

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1                 ; Use FF if device has it
force_feedback_damping = 75.000000       ; force feedback damping
coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.225000        ; force feedback latency (secs)
max_steering_torque = 65.000000         ; steering torque in N*in giving max
device force

I prefer the default latency:

force_feedback_latency = 0.085

Anything less seems out of sync.

Pardon my ignorance, but how did you determine whether or not it was
"out of sync"?  I've done a lot of testing with different settings but I
don't think any setting I tried was blatantly "out of sync".

Just be feel - a totally subjective call. In particular, the way the
weight shifted from side-to-side when coming out of a turn felt wrong,
out of sync with what the car was doing graphically.

Here are the settings I use which I got from a guy named 'mic'  (they've
worked really good too)
In profiler:  Overall 100%,  Spring 100%, Damper 70%, Centering Spring
off, Centering at 0%.

In core ini:
allow_force_feedback = 1                 ; Use FF if device has it
force_feedback_damping = 0.000000        ; force feedback damping
coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.085000        ; force feedback latency (secs)

max_steering_torque = 75.000000          ; steering torque in N*in
giving max device force

I use the following settings with with the overall effects set to 75% in the
LW profiler.

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1
force_feedback_damping = 60.000000
force_feedback_latency = 0.000000
max_steering_torque = 200.000000

Anything higher and it feels unnatural.
Sid.
