F1 2001 - times?

Is anyone able to get anywhere close to a decent time i.e. the AI times in
test day for instance on A1 ring or Monza?  I'm still about 2-3 seconds off
the pace despite trying hard for 2-3 days now!

From: "Iain Mackenzie"

I'm certainly struggling at Silverstone.  I managed a 1:24.x in a Williams
compared with Michael Schumacher's 1:19.  I managed a 1:22.x with throttle
assistance set to low.  I'm still not sure if I should be using it or not.

Looking at Autosport.com I found that Michael Schumacher's pole position
time this year was 1:20.447 and JPM was 8th with a 1:22.219 so it looks like
the AI run a bit fast.  Looks like I'll have to turn down their ability
slightly.

Looking at Austria, Schumacher again set pole with a 1:09.562.  How does
this compare with the AI in your test session?

Cheers

I seem to recall seeing a 1:08:9 at A1.  I'm stuck at 1:11 so far though!

Me too 1:29:xxx but working on it.

The flags thing doesn't bother me cos they are shown on the steering wheel.
I can't see what all the fuss is about, just because there aren't guys at
the side of the track!

Iain

Just me being fussy about the marshalls!!
I like the feel of this game..
You have been coming to this group for a few years!!
I always read (with interst) your views on the new F1 stuff..
I had the same problem with G3 drivers, but got there tonight
I had to download a whole new set from ELSA's site plus a registry cleaner.
I got in a pickle with half of one  and some of another
I had white replays, no mirrors, stuttering etc...
I have seen some nice skins on the net already.. BAR, JORDAN and Ferarri
with Tobacco sponsership etc..

Nice one

A1=Fantastic track . 1:10's here as well.
Sepang is a BIG improvement, too.

On the way

I am not the best setup guy I just drive the car. Most of my setup are
designed around oversteer.
