GP3 - what will it take to run the game?

by Dave Thaye » Mon, 04 Oct 1999 04:00:00

Hi everyone,

All I hope for this game that it doesn't turn into another GP2 and have
to wait 2 years for the hardware to catch up design of the software far
as running with full detail and all cars, etc.  I enjoyed GP2 greatly,
and axiously awaiting for GP3 to arrive.  Just hope it doesnt take a
Pentium 800 Mhz system with a Voodoo 6 card to run it in the future with
all his***pit details, etc. and to do online with the game.

I havent payed much attention yet on minimum requirements, if there are
any yet. If anyone knows in the future months what it will take to run
everything turned on this game, let us know.

cheers,

The big issue with GP2 were the non-accelerated graphics(it was the
timle just before the 3D-card boom). Since GP3 will support 3D
acceleration, it's unlikely that the same problem will exist again.
