Earlier on I bought the necessary hardware to run GP3... should arrive
in the next couple of days (then I get the fun or re-building /
re-installing...  grrr)

I ordered...

        AMD Athlon 750 CPU
        Microstar MS-6195 Slot-A Motherboard (AMD Irongate chipset)
        128Mb 100Mhz DIMMs
        Matrox Millenium G400 Max Graphics Card

I guessed that if the trade demos were done with G400 graphics cards,
they should be fine for me too...

Anyway... have to wait and see now.

You could have waited for initial performance reports. :-)

At least that's what I'm doing, and with a little luck the
hardware will be even cheaper in about one months time ...
