Disabling 3D sound speeds up gp3 2000 a bit but it's still very slow in
WinXP for no apparent reason.

GP3 2k should run just as smooth as GP3.. on my system it does, and I
didn't hear of this problem before. Maybe XP is the cause of the
problem? I run Win98SE..

That's true, there were a number of people saying it runs a lot slower
than GP3 in Win XP. Not a lot, but maybe 5%.

Or possibly the DirectX version 8.1 that installs with XP is the
problem?  Just wondering out loud.  Anyone with Win98SE & DX8.1 having
problems like this?

Runs pretty well here, Win98se, dx8.1. On a Gf3 and tbird 1.4ghz, max
everything and PO at 50%

I think it's just XP AND Win 2K that are the problem. But they should
still run reasonably.

Btw, has anyone with the older red LWFF been successful configuring split
pedal axes in GP32000 with XP?

TIA!
