Before I install this - whats the general opinion.

I've running GP3 on a mediorce P2 350 Voodoo3 AGP
set up - so if the patch increases processor load I guess
its a no-no.

I haven't noticed any drops in framerates, but huge gains in immersion
(the 3D sound), so I advise you to install it.

if you have a pci sound card you will lose a little when you use the sounds.

I have recently downloaded the patch a few days ago, and would
definitely recommend it. It adds a new edge to an already great game.
