GP3 and GPx Patch - possible problems?

Does GPx Patch affect overall stability of Grand Prix, can it cause any
problem like system crash, sudden exit to Windows? I'm asking this because I
wouldn't like this to happen in the middle of the race (especially if I'm
doing well in it :-)).

Never happened to me in dozens of races over the last month.  Makes a big
difference to the whole GP3 experience though!
