Don't see it being mentioned before, so just thought I'd let you know that
GPxPatch is now available for GP3 2000 - whooppeee!  Don't forget RH's 2001
patch as well. (usual places incl. www.grandprix3.com )

Does any body have a problem with the GPxpatch and GP3-2000. After
using GPxPatch tp launch the game I go to select a track to race and
tracks 2 and 3 are shown as "unknown country" and "unknown track" . If
either of these are chosen the track loads and the all is ok. Just a
bit annoying. Does anybody have this problem and known how to solve
it.

I have also installed RH's 2001 patch. The teams are out of sync - the
grid line up shows Schummi in a McLaren and Coulthard in a Ferrari
etc. How can this be resolved, or is this something that needs to done
with GP32000ed when it is updated for the graphics? I have ensure that
all files/folders etc are not read only and there are no issues when
installing RH's patch.

Any help please.

TIA

No problems for me.

Again, I have had no issues with this. Have you loaded the
performance-data file? You'll need Marc Aarts "GP3 2000 Ed" to
install the performance data which also renames the teams/drivers.

I've reinstalled GP3 2000 and solved one of the issues with the track
names missing. I have installed the performance data file using
GP32000ed, but I still have the grid line up and driver selection in
the main menu showing the wrong cars / wrong portraits for the
drivers/teams.

Can anybody help rectify or is this something that needs to be done
with GP3 2000 edit when the other options are available?

The menu art can be changed. I think the EMACs page with Ralf
Hummerich's carset has some instructions on how to do this...I'm not
too sure though. Let me check...

...here it is!

http://www.emac.de/gp3/how2exportmenu2k.html

I hope this helps.

I got the same problem hear, I think your right and we'll have to wait for
GP3 2000 edit, or GP3 2000 master, I would prefer the later myself as
there's a lot more you could do with GP3 master. I tried everything I could
think of to get GP3edit and GP3master to work with GP3 2000 but no luck
:o( oh well we'll have to wait I suppose.

P.S. I've had GP3 2000 for about a week now and it's a real blast, and just
as my GPLRank was progressing so well.

I'm trying to decrypt GP3 (I've done it successfully months
ago) and now I can't find dplayerx.dll on the GP3 CD...it's not
there!!
What the hell do I do? This is frustrating!!
