Well, sorry,

All I have is a lowly P5-166 with 64MB and a 4MB Matrox MGA.  Seems to run
Nascar good enough for Me.  I guess I'm not as fussy as You are.

Perhaps You ought to install SMARTDRV or something......

So how do you get Nascar to run on a drawing board? ;-)

Don,

Please tell me how many people will be able to afford the newest Intel
has to offer.  I personally don't have $6000+ to blow on a new system.

I think calling it a Pentium Pro may have confused folks.  I don't
beleive they will use the Pentium or Pentium Pro name when they release
the chip.  I believe the preproduction code name on that one was Merced.
And did I read right??  600mhz??  What kind of Motherboard supports that??

Man, I'm impressed...IVGA is such a special group, I wish I were good
enough ........

From all published industry reports the Klamath ( PPro with MMX ) may,
MAYBE, by the end of its run, reach 300 MHZ. Youre tellin me the chip
thats coming after the one they're developing now ( I really believe
you have a piece of hardware, really I do...) is gunna double what
Intel hopes to gain in speed by 1998 ? Yeah.......
