Through the use of Kali in IPX at 19200 and 38400 with cablemodem and
ADSL.
The game was set with no AI cars for 2 persons and framerate and
occupancy was
OK.

The last test, i have tried was with 3 players, so you must choose the
option 2 players or more. Either the code wasn't optimized in this Beta
GP3, because the framerate was very slow and occupancy when up to 350%
!!!. Maybe at the time of the test, one of ping of the player was bad
and this has caused this. I will surely retry when i got the final GP3.

I have also played it through a LAN with 10/100Megs Ethernet cards and
everything was very smooth.

So you can play GP3 with 3rd party program like Kali, exactly like F1RS
did before !!!!

But it supports TCP/IP, why add another layer?

It doesn't work through TCP/IP through the internet, with my LAN no problem.

Oh, c'mon.  You connected through Kali, so did we.  But, it was
strictly a hit or miss proposition, and even with 2 players over cable
with really low latency, it was a pig.  This BETA (we hope) is simply
not optimized at all for online play, as is discussed in the readme.

Please don't even begin to give these guys hope that it will connect
at a reasonable rate.  It was a slo-mo fest with a full field for us
even on a LAN (733 & 500 w/V3's).  Let's just hope this whole warez
thing was a big joke.
