N2 sound HELP!

by Dave Mollo » Sun, 08 Dec 1996 04:00:00

Nascar 1 worked just fine as did ICR2, but I can't get any sound in
Nascar 2.  I've got a Pentium 133 with 16M RAM and a Microsoft stereo
system.  Nascar 1 autodetected the board with port 530, IRQ 7, and DMA
1.  Nascar 2 detects the card, port, and DMA, but doesn't see any IRQ.
I even tried loading the sound from Nasacr 1 to Nascar 2,but still it
doesn't see the IRQ.  I'm no computer whiz so any help from you guys
would be great.  I can't wait to play and hear the spotter.  Thanks in
advance!

The problem with the sound was that it would lock up my computer when
testing in setup after autodetecting.  I "fixed the problem by copying
the sound config from N1 to N2, but if I try to test audio in setup, it
still locks up the computer.  So yes I don't test audio anymore in
setup.  LOVE THE SPOTTER, HE HELPS ALOT!!!
