rec.autos.simulators

I just turned a 1:25 at Mosport during a race with the Ferrari.  I am still
using the default setup except I reduced the fuel to 16 laps for a Short Pro
race.  I haven't played with the setups as I figured that I needed to learn how
to drive these cars first.  Any good setups out there and how quick can the
Ferrari go at Mosport.  Anybody playing GPL over the internet?  I have played
SODA Off Road over the internet and three was basically the limit, anymore were
just dropped.  I can't see 20 internet players but is 4 to 6 possible?   I must
say that this is the best auto sim I have ever played.   I thought the driving
model in SODA was the best as it had true 3D physics, but in GPL you have even
more feedback and can really DRIVE these cars over the limit at times.  

P.s.  You guys are the only people who would appreciate someone playing the
same track every night for three weeks just to shave off a second off my
laptime.

Open your eyes :)  'cause 10-15 driver races are held
all the time :)  Just be sure to join Cable/ADSL/T1 games.

i raced in an online race with 17 people in it last week - excellent!!

Thanks to all who responded.  I have been racing on VROC and it's a blast.  

I still need more practice to run with the big boys. :)
