There's a file on the CD gpfiles/setup.tsu which should restore the
defaults.

GP2: Restoring default car setups - how?

I started mucking about with the setup of my car on one of the
circuits, and screwed it up completely. I couldn't find a 'restore
default' option, and even after restarting GP2, the bodged setup was
still there. (The 'Save Settings' option was on but I assumed,
wrongly, that this would save just the display/control/sound settings
and not all the car setups, especially as this would effect anyone
else who chose to use GP2 in the same car I was using.)

In the end, I had to delete the F1GSTATE.SAV file, which caused all
other settings to be lost.

Anyone know if there is a 'restore default' option?

Check the CD-ROM.  In the GPFILES directory, there's a file called SETUP.TSU,
which I'm guessing is the file that has the default car setups for all of the
tracks (I don't know; I haven't tried it myself).  Try loading that file in the
Car Setup menu in GP2 and see if that works.
