I don't understand it either Doug, why would they say they were going to
release it (last May?) and then not bother? It is in dire need of a patch,
either way - 2 hours until I pick up f1 2001, so hopefully it wont matter.

It definitely isnt a good thing though, I feel they have let us down.

Maybe it was in an effort to stop us returning it to the shops or something.

Anyhow - I'm awaiting F1 2001 reports from 'reputable sources' before
getting in there.

There have been quite a few people raving in High Gear Forums,

Only real problem people have been having is det XP drivers + Geforce (X)

Worth a look I think.

Luckily, I don't have time to play it until the later half of the month,
so I have the luxury of being able to postpone the purchase. Otherwise
I'd be in a similar position to yours (minus waiting for the F1RC patch
as I never bought that one, but the general game buying prinicples still
apply :) ).
