Found this posted at High Gear yesterday. Obviously it was never
delayed by FIA as Ubisoft would have us believe.

UbiSoft Official F1RC Patch Statement
12:00 cet (+1 GMT) | by Kenneth Verburg | Source: UbiSoft

UbiSoft UK has released an official statement on their website
concerning the long-due F1 Racing Championship patch:

We can understand if you are getting impatient waiting for our next
patch to become available. The availability date had to be pushed back
to allow us to improve the content and effects. The patch is presently
in the hands of our development teams in charge of implementing the
necessary modifications. Please try to understand that we don't wish
to disappoint our faithful players or lose their confidence, but we
are nevertheless bound by technical constraints that impose a further
delay. We thank you for having just a little more patience and we want
to ensure you that we are doing everything in our power to speed up
the process. Best Regards from, The Ubi Soft Consumer Department.

No, I think it's more a case of most of ras that should put it in their pipe
and smoke it for doubting that there is going to be a patch at all!  This
info has been available from Ubi support for a while now anyway.

Wow, that's pretty gutsy by them.  I applaud their decision to stop
bullshiteying with FIA-approval lies and excuses.  The truth finally gets
out.  We were right, the troll was wrong.

If you followed the statements by the Ubi Soft and Actualize people, you'd
know the patch did go for approval, but Ubi decided to work on it further
after not being satisified, and hearing concerns of users. Do you think
there was just one single copy of the patch, and once they sent it to the
FIA, they couldn't work on it anymore?

You're more wrong than anyone. This statement has been out for at least a
week.

You said there wouldn't be any patch at all. LOL.

Troll.

I feel like everything has to be explained to some of you because you are
unable or unwilling to think things through on your own. Sort of like little
children. That's ok, I'll hold your hand while you cross the street.

There will be graphical changes in the patch. If the graphics are changed,
then that is something that has to be checked by the FIA. If an
adverti***t on a car is a little too large, they want it fixed. Do they
care about a controller bug fix? Doubtful.

Your stance that the FIA doesn't have anything to do with these F1 games is
really stupid, do you know that?

Why the h*ll did Ubi make MGPRS2 with fictitious graphics?
Answer: NO LICENSE FROM THE FIA.

You are completely mixing two different situations, for the sake of
trolling.  You won't ever achieve anything here DGF.  You are a complete
100% troll failure.

Thought so.

Talking out your ass as usual.

Your wrong about Ubi once again. I don't know if you thought you had a job
there once, and then they told you to***off instead, but you need to get
over your Ubi bashing fixation and get on with your life.

I'm as wrong about the Papy ff issue as I was about Montoya.

How's he doing BTW?

Crashed out of the last two races. Only finished one race so far this
season. R. Schumacher has won two, and qualified higher than him in every
race but one (by .7 the past two races). Villeneuve wanted to kick his ass,
and Frank Williams has told him to get his act together. Even his dad says
he needs a new approach.

Yea, I sure was wrong about him.
