The new screenshoots are at Papy.com. Has anybody noticed that the
mirror inside the car (picture on the second row, on the right) shows
more than just a grey horizon? It looks like a full feature mirror,
quite unlike the one found in Nascar 3. Question is: why?

Forgot to include this in my first post: how about drivers that actually
look like drivers? The drivers in Nascar Legends look better than the
one in Nascar 3 (card board cut outs).

Also: no pit speed limit. Can you spell instant wreck in online races?
Oopps, sorry, I was able to stop my car in time.

I have a question. Thompson Speedway is on the list of tracks. I think this
is the Thompson from Conn. Which is great. BUT.... I seem to remember that
Thompson did not have a wall around most of the track in the 70's. I did not
go to Thompson myself until 85, when the back stretch had been given a wall
about a year or two before. So I was wondering, will Legends have Thompson
with the wall or without the wall. And if Thompson is included, and Bowman
Gray, why not include Islip or Jacksonville? Just asking.
Also. It would seem to me, with N3 and Legends having the same engine, the
tracks should be interchangable. If this is the case. I would like to go on
record now and say I will pay for a Featherlite Modified Tour Body for this
game. (So I can start my own online Modified tour)
Seriously. I will pay....like $100 US...what would that be in
Canadian....like a million?

Because that's what mirrors show?

You are correct.  Thompson Speedway had a sandbank in turns one and two.

You didn't read post correctly; compare the mirrors in Nascar 3 and in
Nascar Legends (just look at the screenshoots at www.papy.com). They
don't show the same things. In Nascar 3, all you see is a generic blue
sky and a grey horizon. In Nascar Legends, you see a blue sky with
clouds, a road and the side of the road (dirt), just like the mirrors in
GPL. If both game have the same graphic engine, why is it that the
mirrors have different detail levels? That's what I meant.

Sorry....misunderstanding.
Perhaps the detail level was turned down in the less-detailed version?
