After doing a survey at HG, and with a lot of help from Iain Mackenzie, it
turns out that it is the 2.3.6 drivers (also known as Thrustmapper 3.08)
that are causing the Ferrari FF wheel problems.

I uninstalled the 2.3.6 (make sure you get everything) and then installed
the 2.1.6 drivers located here:

FF is fantastic now with the default player file!

I'm using XP. I would assume it would fix any problems with Win 2000 as
well.

If using 98 or Me, maybe try the 2.1.11 drivers also on the page above.

You won't have split axis, but at least you'll have great ff until a new
patch is released.

I am using the Def drivers off the cd and f12001 + patch works great
